The importance of the pre-analytical stage

Sample quality – The indications concerning the quantity of material necessary to perform each factor of the analysis should be respected. These quantities involve determining each individual factor.

Sample identification – With regards to stimulation/suppression tests, as well as analyses performed across a 24-hour period, each individual sample must be identifiable in the chronological order of its sampling, by their number and their time of collection.

Test request form – You are asked to clearly mark the boxes on the form corresponding to the analysis factors required, the species of the animal, its sex and the type of equipment used, using a horizontal line or a cross.
